Cervelo road bikes

Founded during 1995 in Canada and using a potmanteau of cervello, the Italian word for brain, and velo, the French word for bike as a name, Cervelo use cutting edge CAD design tools and wind tunnel testing to design their bikes. Currently the bike of choice for UCI World Tour team, Team Dimension Data who are hoping to see Mark Cavendish power his S5 to victory in the sprint stages of the Tour de France. Cervelo are renowned for making some of the fastest bikes on the market today as well as building bikes that climbers and endurance riders love. With framesets available, a Cervelo is a great choice for a customer build!

S2, S3, S3 DISC & S5

The S Series' sleek design shares much with Cervelo record-setting time-trial bikes, including the extended seat-tube cutout. From the dropped downtube to the shielding seatstays, all frame shapes are designed to smooth airflow over the entire bike and rider. Even the bottle cage location has been rethought to make it the fastest frame with one bottle or two. Add BBright™ technology and you get the best of aero engineering with maximum control and stability. Get used to spending time at the front of the paceline. Optimized stiffness means the most efficient power transfer possible, which will push you to road-blurring speeds. This performance does not taper off on climbs, giving the S series the rare gifts of light weight and stiffness, aero bikes that climb well and boost your confidence descending. Surprisingly light-footed even on the toughest climbs, the S Series defies the myth of the heavy aero frame. With Core Design Features like carbon dropouts and BBright, Cevelo maximize performance while dropping overall frame weight.

R2, R3, R3 DISC, R5 & r5 disc

The new R Series epitomises Cervelo's definition of exceptional ride quality: When a bike feels perfectly in tune with its intended use. With wider wheel clearance, a versatile range of fit options, and a fine-tuned frame geometry that delivers confidence-inspiring handling, the R Series uniquely enhances both comfort and elite all-round performance. The all new R series are their stiffest-ever road frames, with stiffness-to-weight ratios that are fine-tuned to a range of high-performance riding styles. The Team Dimension Data pros who helped develop the R Series are adamant that stiffness equals speed, and in the end they got exactly what they want thanks to new Squoval Max tube shapes. And by integrating the latest disc-brake technology, the lateral fork stiffness of the disc models has been boosted even further. Small design details can make a big difference when it comes to owning and enjoying a top-shelf road bike. That’s why we developed a sturdier locking fork insert; thru-axles that improve alignment, ease-of-use and safety; a subtle-yet-robust chain-stay protector; a sleek-fitting top cap; a stem and bar that allows for internal electronic routing and easy computer mounting...the list goes on.

C3 & C5

single-piece rear triangles and wide seatstays boost back-end and bottom-bracket stiffness, allowing weight reduction to be the focus of the carbon-fibre layup used elsewhere across the Squoval tube shapes. Moving the bottom bracket closer to the ground lowers the C Series’ centre of gravity, while increasing fork and stack length allows for a more upright riding position and a decrease in stand-over height, all while avoiding the “tower of headtube” look. Confidence is also about controlling speed, which is why the C Series incorporates the latest disc-brake technologies, such as the flat-mount standard and through-axles, to enhance safety, drive-train alignment and performance. The C Series uses disc brakes and the “flat-mount” standard to ensure compatibility with virtually all commonly used calipers and rotor sizes, and through-axles to improve alignment and safety. Accidental wheel dropouts, for instance, are not just unlikely — they’re impossible.
