Well, its been a busy couple of days this week with Round 3 of the Yorkshire Cyclo-Cross Association Summer League taking place at York Sport on Wednesday evening.

On a dry but 'grippy' course, York Cycleworks were well represented in the main field with Crimson Performance rider (and Cycleworks expert bike fit technician) Ryan Manders book ending one end of the field taking 7th overall, and your author (me) bringing up the rear of the field 127 places behind.

Between the two of us we had Matthew Eastwood breaking the top 30 (7th in the competitive MV40 Age group) with a very handy performance. Terry Lightfoot just about cracked the top half of the field with Rachel Lightfoot taking 6th in Age group.

Friend of the shop and Ryan Manders' fellow Crimson performance rider Jessica Hobson Taylor put in a strong performance for 4th in the Senior ladies field.

Thanks to Kylie Jackson for the photos and cheers on the night!

Last night saw round 5 of the Clifton Cycling Club Evening Time Trial League on the challenging, hilly Coneysthorpe circuit. Following a heavy downpour, York Cycleworks club members Paul 'Wobbley' Warters and Michael Jeffrey finished in 10th and 12th places respectively, separated by a handful of seconds on the night.

You can find full results of the evening TT league by clicking this link.

That's it for now. As always, if you've got any reprts you'd like to share, please let us know.
