Designed to offer incredible aerodynamics at all angles, the MET Codatronca Helmet has a short tail design to make it impressively versatile to use when courses are technical and when crosswinds are a major factor.
As you'd expect, the Codatronca Helmet has had considerable development and testing, both by CFD analysis and wind tunnel testing, to create the slippery aerodynamics that will give a boost to your performance. The short tail design has been engineered so you can move your head freely and still enjoy drag-free airflow and the helmet remains aerodynamic from all angles.
The shoulders are an area that can cause considerable turbulence leading to increased drag and so MET have designed the Codatronca with a wide frontal area that guides airflow smoothly across this key area. The magnetically attached Dual Sheild lens further enhances smooth airflow while giving an unbroken field of view, even in the lowest of riding positions.
Of course, riding fast can generate considerable body heat but three air vents, carefully placed in areas of high-pressure airflow, creates an excellent level of cooling inside the helmet all without adversely affecting drag. In terms of fit, the Codatronca benefits from the MET Safe-T Orbital fit system, this easily adjustable system provides 360? of adjustment, three vertical and two occipital adjustments, making dialling the fit of your aero helmet remarkably easy. A magnetic buckle system makes fastening quick and easy too, and for triathletes that will give an edge when it comes to transition times.
